What "website control confirmed" means

Control of the listed website has been checked using one of the methods below. This does not authenticate individual products, gemstones, or represent an endorsement of quality.

Business-domain email confirmation

Establishes: Access to an email address on the business’s own domain.

Website meta tag or verification file

Establishes: Ability to modify the relevant website.

DNS TXT challenge

Establishes: Control over the relevant DNS configuration.

Manual evidence review

Establishes: Exception handling for legitimate cases that don’t fit the automated methods.

What verification does not mean

A domain-control badge does not mean Jewellery.HK has authenticated a business's products, gemstones, or claims. It does not represent an endorsement of quality. It confirms one specific, disclosed fact: that the business controls the website linked on its profile.

Ownership disputes

A conflicting claim over the same listing creates a dispute case for human review — it does not automatically transfer control to the latest applicant. Contact us if you believe a listing is incorrectly claimed.

Unclaimed listings

Some profiles are compiled from public sources and have not yet completed verification. These are clearly labelled "Unclaimed listing" throughout the directory.
